Friends, Colleagues and Clients,
Greetings from my home office! Like most of you, the associates of Magis Insurance Group have heeded the government and health officials’ guidance/requirements and are working remotely. At Magis, we have had contingency plans and technology in place to respond to the needs of clients remotely for a long time. These plans were initiated with the thought that weather events or power interruptions might trigger implementation. After all, it is often in the aftermath of significant storms that trigger the need for counsel with your insurance advisors. I don’t believe any of us could imagine the present set of circumstance which find us grateful for our work-at-home capabilities. Nevertheless, we are operational, working behind a firewall that protects your information, and want you to know we have access to:
- Email as usual. Our provider has increased security so I am seeing more emails coming into my spam, but we are checking that regularly, too.
- Your information and details of your insurance programs.
- Our insurance company partners’ associates and their websites.
- Our phones at the regular numbers you call us as they are forwarded to us.
You can continue to email and call us at the numbers and addresses you usually do!
We will continue to monitor policy renewals, billing notices and claims as usual. We can help navigate premium payments via credit card or online if needed. We are available to discuss coverage particulars, potential claims or new purchases (we have heard from auto dealers who are delivering new cars to clients). You should contact us with any questions, concerns or needs for accommodation. We will work with you and your insurer as needed, and to the best ability, as your agent and advisor.
Above all, be well, stay safe and follow the advice of the professionals as the days ahead unfold. While our “new normal” feels anything but normal, I think it is a good time to express gratitude for the trust you place in us as your risk management and insurance advisors.
